Worldwide Offshore Services Sdn Bhd (WOS) is PETRONAS’ licensed human resource solutions provider recruiting talented candidates to work on their upcoming project based in Sabah and Sarawak. QAQC Manager is one of the collective positions required for the PETRONAS project.
About the Role:
QAQC Manager will be a part of the QAQC Department that oversees the QAQC operations whenever they are assigned to and provide a partnership with Project Management Team (PMT) to conduct an extensive review of every aspect of the operation.
Job Description:
- Lead and provide direction to the PMT QAQC Inspectors for an on-site review of Contractors’ QAQC Plan and other related Plans, Procedures and Method Statements.
- Review and verify procurement, construction and engineering work performances by Contractors to ensure quality and the requirement of respective areas are met.
- Conduct or oversee regular audits to ensure effective implementation of the Contractor Construction QA Plan and Procedures.
- Coordinate a non-compliance reporting and tracking system to ensure that quality deviations are reported and resolved.
- Monitor quality system performance, identify systematic problems and manage quality documentation systems to ensure issues can be assisted, information can be obtained and relayed, plus the integrity of the work for both Contractors and PMT are upheld.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering at minimum.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of working experience, inclusive of at least five (5) years in the project, of which three (3) years in a civil construction environment.
- High technical and supervisory skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to drive the work and the team.
- Showcase strong leadership to lead the team and oversee operations.
- Strong emotional control and stability under duress and unexpected circumstances.
- Attentive and competent problem-solving skills when working on different types of projects.
- Powerful negotiating skills with clear objectivity when approaching different counter-justifications.
