Worldwide Offshore Services Sdn Bhd (WOS) is PETRONAS’ licensed human resource solutions provider recruiting talented candidates to work on their upcoming project based in Sabah and Sarawak. QAQC Inspector is one of the collective positions required for the PETRONAS project.

About the Role:

QAQC Inspector will be a part of the QAQC Department that works with Contractors and managers from other departments to assess the integrity of each project from materials grouping and safety, together with ensuring every stage of the operation follows the compliance set by PETRONAS.

Job Description:

  • Ensure all valid PTW are in place and align all Contractors with abiding by the procedures when commencing any at-site projects.
  • Full-time supervision and monitoring of all Contractor activities at the work site. This includes but is not limited to drawings approval, procedures, maintaining effective interface and proper coordination throughout the commencing of projects. All regulatory approvals from DOSH and NREB are subjugated to be under consideration as well.
  • Oversee all Contractor’s briefings before the beginning of any projects pertaining to the work quality, work duration, equipment list, resources required and more to determine whether the work can be proceeded or be reviewed further.
  • Manage and validate all reports related to the projects and the Contractors specifying work progress, quality assessment, issues and problems, third-party complaints, HSE performance and promotional initiatives and quality of the running projects.
  • Communicate all problems, assessments, and findings to the relevant supervisors and stakeholders with either probable solutions or consultations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Certificate in Civil or Technical Engineering at a minimum.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience related to pipeline or civil work.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to drive the work and the team.
  • Good presentation skills on technical and non-technical matters for various audiences or stakeholders.
  • Attentive and competent problem-solving skills when working on different types of projects.
  • Experienced in soil handling or earthworks and survey works.
  • Familiarise with drawings, specifications, procedures and the standards with such projects.
