About the Role:
Project Control Manager will be a part of the Project Management Team (PMT) that supports the Project Manager in the management and oversees effective practices and procedures that are being implemented following the set standards.
Job Description:
- Support the Project Manager with progress reporting, schedule updates, forecasting, variance identification, improvement opportunities, reevaluating delayed project’s usability and support the Project Controls team with their weekly and/or monthly reports.
- Advise and consult on implementing effective planning techniques and controls related to earned value, cost and schedule variance estimates at completion, critical path analysis; and ensure all Project Controls processes are consistently applied across the project through monitoring and control program compliance.
- Provide Project Controls Management with baseline schedule development & management, performance status & reporting, baseline change control, risk management, and earned value management guidance and tools.
- Support and advice on defining Project Controls and Earned Value Management policies, procedures and the standards required, together with developing an integrated master schedule for specific programs in Primavera that showcase all interface milestones and activity durations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering at a minimum.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of working experience, inclusive of at least five (5) years in the project, of which three (3) years in a civil construction environment.
- High technical and supervisory skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to drive the work and the team.
- Showcase strong leadership to lead the team and oversee operations.
- Strong emotional control and stability under duress and unexpected circumstances.
- Attentive and competent problem-solving skills when working on different types of projects.
- Powerful negotiating skills with clear objectivity when approaching different counter-justifications.
