Worldwide Offshore Services Sdn Bhd (WOS) is PETRONAS’ licensed human resource solutions provider recruiting talented candidates to work on their upcoming project based in Sabah and Sarawak. HSE Supervisor is one of the collective positions required for the PETRONAS project.
About the Role:
HSE Supervisor will be a part of the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Department which focuses primarily on ensuring on-site operations, together with execution and logistics compliance, are on par with the HSE standards.
Job Description:
- Responsible for managing safety at the site during work execution, transportation of machinery and heavy equipment, working at heights or steep slopes, jungle-clearing and tree felling or at a work site in general standards.
- Provide active feedback, assistance, planning and review on Project’s yearly KPIs, Objectives, Targets, Initiatives, HSE Promotional, Briefing and Enforcement, Monthly HSE Performance Report, Site HSE audits and inspections, plus other related programmes.
- Analyse overall Site HSE Performance Statistics, Incident Notification Report (INF), Near Miss Incident Report, Unsafe Act & Unsafe Condition (UAUC) and High Potential Incident (HiPo) with great attentiveness and necessary recommendations to be taken into place; and prepare plus review Hazard & Effect Register (HER), Job Method Statement (JMS/MOS), Risk Assessment and JHA/JSA for all project activities and other HSE critical activities.
- Ensure all compliance is met with the Project Legal Register and coordinate with relevant authorities. Enforce rules on zero tolerance on non-compliance to HSE requirements and report ZETO Non-Conformance accordingly.
Candidate Requirements:
- Certificate in any discipline related to the position above at a minimum.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience related to pipeline or civil work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to drive the work and the team.
- Good presentation skills on technical and non-technical matters for various audiences or stakeholders.
- Sophisticated writing skills to relay clear messages and information.
